The Clovis Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Salute to Business Dinner will be held on Thursday, January 19th in The Veterans Room at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District in Old Town Clovis. This is the time to say farewell and honor the 2016 team and welcome the new faces in 2017.

Following a delicious dinner, awards will be presented to honor those going the extra mile for the Chamber and the Clovis community.

Outgoing Chair Deborah Ikeda, SCCCD District Trustee Area 6, will pass the gavel to incoming Chair Layla Forstedt of the Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau who is looking forward to continuing the momentum from 2016. “The Chamber delivers a robust roster of events, programs and initiatives to boost business and economic success. The Chamber provides leadership on issues important to business and takes collective action to advance sustainable economic growth and a better Clovis for all those who live, work and play in our city and region.”

She will be passing the gavel to incoming Chairman Gary Honeycutt of BJ's Kountry Kitchen who is looking forward to continuing the momentum from 2014. "We are planning to further expand our membership base by providing networking and educational value to help our members grow their businesses. I am excited about the new Clovis Chamber app, enhanced membership directory on our website, the new LifeStyle magazine and iCan University that will continue the expansion of the Clovis Chamber brand."

After the new Board of Directors is sworn in, we will be honoring the Ambassador and Director of the Year followed by the small business awards.

As Small Business of the Year, we will recognize The House of JuJu and owners Julie and Scott Glenn. And this year, we will surprise the honoree receiving the Professional Business Woman of the Year!
