Saturday, Sept. 20th 8am-5pm &
Sunday, Sept. 21st 8am-5pm
September means falling autumn leaves, football, changing weather and the Table Mountain Casino ClovisFest and Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly, a Clovis Chamber Event. Join the thousands of visitors in Old Town for free, family fun.
Hot Air Balloons:
The Balloons will inflate and take off from the Clovis Rodeo Grounds starting about 6:15 a.m. Enjoy a hot, fresh cinnamon roll as you get a close up view as the giant orbs fill with hot air and pop upright, ready for lift off. By 7 a.m., they'll rise to float across the Valley sky. No balloon rides are available to the public.
Our thanks to the following Chamber member hotels for accommodating the balloon pilots.
Cross the street to Pollasky Avenue where the real fun begins. Start with a hot breakfast from various Old Town shops and festival food vendors. Then start shopping at the 200 craft and commercial booths. Stick around for entertainment on many of the side streets from luche Xtreme Wrestlers on Fourth Street to dancing and there will be a large display of Toy Haulers between 7th and 8th Sreets.
If great food is on your agenda, stop at the many vendors along Pollasky for kettle corn, shaved ice, cotton candy and a Texas Twister smoothie. Then go to the Bullard Food Court where you'll find the best of barbeque, Mexican food, chicken and delicious egg rolls. Returning to ClovisFest is the 60 foot Johnsonville Big Taste Grill on 7th Street. They'll be cooking up their famous sausages. Enjoy a cool Pepsi product and a sweet treat from the Gorilla Gurt trailer.
Visit the Shock Top BrewFest with over 40 craft beers and hear the sounds of local live bands. Your little ones will love the full sized carnival at Bullard and Pollasky and get a fancy balloon animal on Fourth Street.
Come join the over 70,000 visitors who enjoy this family friendly fun in a safe environment. We'll be waiting for you.
