October means falling autumn leaves, changing weather and the Table Mountain Casino ClovisFest and Kaiser Permanente Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly, a Clovis Chamber Event. Join thousands of Clovis and Fresno locals in visiting Old Town Clovis for free, family fun at the upcoming 42nd Annual ClovisFest!

This year's event has been given a big facelift with the addition of long-awaited new attractions like the PG&E ClovisFest International Village – where you and your family will experience cultural adventures and wonderful live performances. We've worked hard to enhance this year's event including a wide range of hot air balloons, children's pony rides, and a fun petting zoo on 7th Street. See a variety of creative and inspiring sandcastles at our AIA San Joaquin Sandcastle Competition on 5th Street on Saturday the 29th. You also won't want to miss the IronHorse Robotics Team demonstrating their world champion robots on Sunday. Also, be certain to stop by the Clovis Police Department's Text-While-Driving course!

Kaiser Permanente Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly

Get to the Clovis Rodeo grounds before sunrise and feast your eyes on the majestic hot air balloons readying for takeoff! You'll want to arrive very early on Saturday and Sunday to ensure a good vantage point to watch these beauties launch. Most often, our balloon pilots begin inflating around 6:15 am and plan for liftoff around 7:00 am, weather permitting. Visitors will be able to enjoy delicious breakfast items from the Old Town Clovis Kiwanis Club while they wait for the festivities to begin. Unfortunately balloon rides are not available to the public.

All About ClovisFest 2016

ClovisFest spans over four city blocks, including side streets where you'll discover over 200 craft and commercial vendor booths, in addition to our Kid's Carnival.

After the early morning hot air balloon launch, walk across to Pollasky Avenue where family fun begins! Visit our newest attraction, the PG&E ClovisFest International Village, featuring live multicultural performances, storytelling and various booths selling international food and wares. Don't miss the Grand Opening Ceremony at 10 am sharp, on Saturday. Live performances will take place on stage at 7th and Pollasky - every thirty minutes throughout the entire weekend.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn more about diverse cultures – close to home in the Central Valley. Local schools are also encouraged to participate and can download our free Passport to Culture and International Village flyer.

You will also want to download the Clovis Chamber of Commerce mobile app so that you can participate in the Moore Than SEO Treasure Hunt for a chance to win the $100 cash prize on Saturday and Sunday! The mobile app will also provide a wonderful overview of ClovisFest vendors, attractions, and entertainment schedules to make your experience even better. Follow the official ClovisFest Facebook page for updates and details on everything leading up to this event!

If great food is on your agenda, stop at the many vendors along Pollasky for kettle corn, shaved ice, cotton candy, delicious smoothies, and more. Then go to the Bullard Food Court where you'll find a diverse selection of old favorites as well as some new, more exotic menus to try out. Enjoy a cool Pepsi product or hot coffee with a wide range of savory and sweet treats to suit any taste throughout the entire ClovisFest event.

Don't miss our Sand Castle Competition on Saturday morning for some truly amazing hand-crafted designs. You'll also want to spend some time visiting the Clovis Police Department's, “Dangers of Texting and Driving” course.

Searching for great music, refreshing beverages and good times hanging out with friends? Visit the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden to enjoy a cool brew while listening to an impressive schedule of the local area bands and maybe kick your heels up a bit. Or play a round of Corn Hole, sponsored by KAIL-TV.

There's something for everyone at ClovisFest 2016!
