Clovis Motorsports Jamboree
Returns on May 7th
Rev up your engines and get ready for the Third Annual Kitahara Pontiac-Buick-GMC Clovis Motorsports Jamboree on May 7th and 8th. Hundreds of cars have been signed up to be shown off at Bicentennial Park in Clovis.
Souped up rods, classic cars and motorcycles will be included. Several dozen Pro Pick autos are coming as well as one of Dale Earnhardt’s last race cars.
On Friday evening, May 7th, come to Old Town Clovis to watch cruise night as the cars wend their way down Pollasky and Clovis Avenues. Follow up with a barbeque held in the old DMV parking lot.
The car show will occur on Saturday at Bicentennial Park. Come on over and view the hundreds of vehicles lovingly restored and kept up by their proud owners. Have a great lunch at one of the food booths or enjoy a Pepsi product. Be sure to visit the auto vendors who will be set up on the grass.
Continuing with tradition, the Motorsports Jamboree will be honoring two racing legends – Bill Vukovich and Ray Elder. That ceremony will precede the awarding of the trophies to the car owners.
Joining main sponsor Kitahara Pontiac-Buick-GMC are Budweiser, Pepsi, Clear Channel Radio, Kragen-O’Reilly and the Institute of Technology.
