Big Hat Days are Coming
April 10th and 11th
On Friday morning, April 9th and Monday morning, April 12h, Old Town Clovis will be a quiet little part of town with old-fashioned shops and few cars. No one will be able to tell that between those two days, the population will have doubled at the largest event in the Central Valley.
The 71st Annual Table Mountain Casino Big Hat Days are coming to town on April 10th and 11th . This year’s event, the Premier Event in the Central Valley, is promising to be another sell out.
The Chamber is already fielding phone calls from craft vendors from around the country all vying for the coveted 400 spaces. Many are already sold. New and upgraded quality crafters are bringing their products – blown glass vases, all kinds of art including acrylics, oils and pencil sketches, hand made baskets, pottery and lots of hats.
In the DMV lot you’ll find the Don Maurer Family Carnival that will be bigger than ever.
The alluring smells of cooking tri-tip, funnel cakes, kettle korn and sausages will bring you down the Food Fair to the Budweiser Beverage Garden where you can enjoy the sounds of local bands. Quench your thirst with a Pepsi product sold by a local non-profit group.
As you’re enjoying the Kitahara Auto Display, listen to the sounds of 102.7 Big Country, Alice 96.7 and B95.
