Chamber Opposes Card Check
The Clovis Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has voted to oppose SB104 (Steinberg) that is commonly known as “Card Check”. It fundamentally changes the methods of unionization in private companies. Although this bill affects only agricultural companies, the Chamber fears that with its passage it would spread to other private companies.
